THIS PRODUCTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 2018.
The award-winning Redcliffe Musical Theatre will be staging Dad’s Army in March 2018. The production will feature three well-known episodes from the TV series: The Deadly Attachment, The Godiva Affair and Mum’s Army. In addition, a short sketch from the Dad’s Army West End show entitled The Floral Dance will also be included.
The production will be staged at Theatre 102, Redcliffe July 13th to 29th
For the well-known character parts from the Home Guard platoon, we are looking for performers who can do good impressions of them – and a British accent is essential.
There are roles for male and female performers in the show including speaking and ensemble parts.

• Pvt Pike (The youngest member of the platoon - needs to be a convincing 18 year old)

• Pvt Cheeseman (The Welsh newspaperman - 40+ with a strong Welsh accent)
• Mrs Fox (Jones’ love interest - needs to be a convincing 40+)
• Hodges (ARP warden)
• Verger
• Vicar
. U-boat captain (needs to be convincing that he was actually in charge of one of Hitler’s submarines)
• Mrs Gray (Played at 40+, refined)
• Edith Parish (Played at 20+ cinema usherette, Walker’s girlfriend)

Other speaking roles - where possible we will double people up to play more than one part as well as them being in the ensemble where appropriate.

Sunday 26 November – 4.00-6.00pm (audition proper)
