RMT and ROAR Academy are bringing a fresh take on their iconic British variety show paying tribute to the Best of British comedy and music – A Night of the POMS.
This is a parody of British ICONS of music and theatre, featuring music from The Beatles, Elton John, Andrew Lloyd Webber and inspired by artists such as Adele, The Spice Girls, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Eurythmics, Queen, Duffy, Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams and Deep Purple among many others, it will be a veritable feast of the Best of British over the decades. Also featured will be songs from famous British Musicals such as Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera and Billy Elliott. All served with a delicious smattering of comedy inspired by such icons as Rowan Atkinson, The Two Ronnies, Absolutely Fabulous, The Goons and John Cleese.

This production has a team of Music Coaches – Meg Kiddle, Rhonda Davidson-Irwin, Matthew Leigh and Lachy Stewart, who is also leading the band.
Georgia Murray is also Assistant Directing, as well as performing, with choreographers – Lyndon Steele and Kayla Pehi – also featured in the production.
Starring RMT regulars – Erickson Illustre, Colin Rhys-Jones, Georgia Burnett, Kristie Rabbitt, Rebekah Collins and Jordan Smith among many others – in fact, a cast of over 40 who are ready to help you get your British on.
Get out your pearls and tiaras and head to the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre for a jolly good time –
