About
Redcliffe Musical Theatre, founded in 2009, brings quality musical theatre to the Moreton Bay Region. We provide affordable performance opportunities and training for actors, singers, dancers, directors and technicians; with a key focus on young people. Hundreds of locals have been involved in our shows, both as cast and crew, since the inaugural production of The Sound of Music in August 2010. We have a readily growing membership base, many of whom are young and all of whom are young at heart.
We give back to the community through charitable donations; giving hundreds of free tickets to nursing homes, outpatients and families, and through performances at charity events and aged care facilities across the region. Above all, we have become a major part of the cultural life at the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding area. We are often complemented by sold out performances, and ongoing support from local businesses and the general public.
