Margate Community Branch of Bendigo Bank
A significant amount of work and public consultation has been undertaken in relation to the feasibility of establishing the Margate Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank. A group of interested community members was briefed by Bendigo Bank in May 2002 in relation to the proposal to establish Margate Community Bank® Branch‚ and a committee formed to evaluate the proposal. The results of the feasibility study were presented to the committee at a meeting held on 3 November 2003 and it was unanimously voted to proceed towards the establishment of the Margate Community Bank® Branch.
